Startup medical imaging archives firm Medexprim plans to collaborate with Toulouse University Hospitals in southern France to develop and market a medical image archiving software package designed for research.
Radiomics Enabler extracts relevant image series for researchers from a facility's PACS and routes them toward quantification software. It links the resulting data with medical information such as reports, lab results, and genomics information.
In collaboration with the Informatique et Systèmes d'Information pour la Santé school, Medexprim and Toulouse University Hospitals have developed and installed a prototype in one of the Toulouse University hospital's nuclear medicine departments, the company said.
