French image archive software developer Medexprim and artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Illuminate are building upon their three-year partnership to support U.S. and European Union research studies.
The collaboration uses AI to improve translational medicine, with Illuminate focusing on the provider side and Medexprim focusing on real-world evidence, according to the firms.
Medexprim provides researchers with deidentified, aggregated, multicentric, curated, regulatory-grade datasets, while Illuminate helps hospitals unlock patient records stored across multiple systems to deliver actionable intelligence, the firms said.
