Agfa HealthCare has integrated a dedicated system for dispensing methadone and narcotics into its Orbis hospital information system through an agreement with Imagitive of Niederkassel, Germany, the company said.
Imagitive's AMBA package allows for complete documentation of the entire course of substitution therapy, from approval through to dispensing, according to Agfa.
Orbis is not yet available in the U.S. and Canada, Agfa said.
