The ESR has received a record number of abstract submissions for ECR 2026, to be held in Vienna from 4 to 8 March.
During the main submission phase, 9,742 abstracts will be received, the highest number recorded in ECR history for October submissions. This represents a 14% increase compared with October 2024's submission phase. The submissions came from a total of 105 countries.
The ESR said ECR 2026 is on track to pass the all-time total of 9,871 abstracts after the second submission phase of 2025. The society also suggested that the congress will enter the five-digit range for abstract submissions.
The late-breaking abstract submission period will run from 9 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. Find out more about ECR 2026 here.
