Preclinical imaging technology developer MILabs has debuted Vector+, the next generation of its Vector SPECT/PET molecular imaging system.
Vector+ offers several new exchangeable collimators and the option to choose thicker crystals for more counts, according to the vendor. MILabs said it has also incorporated new reconstruction methods to garner additional image quality improvements.
The system is capable of smaller than 250-micron spatial resolution for SPECT and 750-micron resolution in PET, MILabs said. CT can also be added to Vector+ to provide an integrated SPECT/PET/CT system.
The company will showcase Vector+ at next month's Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia.
