Forensic radiographer Jacquie Vallis died on 10 January, the U.K. Society of Radiographers (SoR) has announced.
As the professional officer for education and accreditation at the SoR, she brought more than 20 years of forensic experience as a diagnostic radiographer and more than 15 years of experience teaching in higher education to the role, the statement said. She also wrote national forensic radiography guidance and standards.
Known for setting high standards for herself and those whom she nurtured, "Jacquie would absolutely always stand up for what is right; a true professional," noted the SoR.
An online book of memories and tributes, which will be shared with Jacquie's family, is being organized. Full details are available on the SoR website.
