A new survey has been launched to shine light on how forensic and postmortem imaging is being used in the U.K. National Health Service (NHS).

Copies of the survey are being distributed to radiographers, radiologists, and radiology departments. The organizers hope to establish a network of radiologists and radiographers interested in forensic and postmortem imaging "to share experience and establish good practice."

"This survey is being undertaken to inform us of postmortem imaging practices across the country," consultant radiographer Claire Robinson at University Hospitals of Leicester noted in a statement. "We do not intend to advocate as to how postmortem services should be run but hope the information will guide the whole postmortem imaging community in deciding these issues."

For more information, go to the Society of Radiographers website. Also, the survey can be found here and will be available until 8 October.
