The European Society of Radiology (ESR) has written to all its members to seek nominations for candidates to serve as the society's next second vice president.
A second vice president is elected every year for a five-year period of office. After serving in that position the first year, the second vice president will become first vice president in the second year and then president in the third year. The individual will then hold the position of chair of the board of directors in the fourth year and then past-president in the fifth year of office, according to the ESR.
Proposals must be submitted to the ESR by 13 November 2021. Electronic voting will then take place on the candidates between 13 and 26 January 2022.
