Esaote recently signed up to the United Nations (UN) Global Compact in an effort to promote sustainability and corporate citizenship.
The compact is a global initiative that encourages companies around the world to adopt a voluntary code with sustainable policies, aligning strategies with principles on human rights, employment, environmental sustainability, and the fight against corruption.
Esaote said a long-term strategy that includes drafting a sustainability report, distributing standards to suppliers and subsidiaries, and analyzing value creation in the supply chain is in the works for the company in light of joining the compact.
