Siemens reports revenue uptick in Q3

Siemens Healthineers reported strong financial performance in its third quarter of fiscal year 2025, with a revenue increase of 7.6% over the same period last year.

For the period (end-30 June), the company posted revenues of 5.662 billion euros, up from €5.423 billion in the second quarter of 2024, and a net income of €556 million, an 18% increase year over year.

The company cited its Imaging and Varian segments in particular for the revenue development. The company’s Imaging segment revenue grew to €3.24 billion, up 11.7% from €2.98 billion in the same period last year, while its Varian segment revenue increased by 8.7% to €978 million, up from €927 million in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the company’s Diagnostics segment experienced a slight revenue decline of 0.6% to €1.059 billion compared with €1.107 billion in the same period last year.

Across various geographical regions, revenue growth was significant for the company, particularly in the Americas and Asia Pacific. The Americas region saw a revenue increase of 12%, contributing €2.542 billion, while the Asia Pacific Japan region experienced a 9% growth, with revenues of €684 million, the company posted.

Based on the results, Siemens Healthineers also revised its outlook for fiscal year 2025.

“We now expect comparable revenue growth of between 5.5% and 6% over fiscal year 2024 (previously between 5% and 6%) and adjusted basic earnings per share of between €2.30 and €2.45 (previously between €2.20 and €2.50),” the company said.
