Esaote announced the installation of the first Magnifico Open MRI system in the U.S. Magnifico offers versatility in imaging across a wide variety of clinical applications, according to the company.
The open gantry -- which will be installed in the Sport Ortho Urgent Care clinic in Murfreesboro, TN -- is designed to provide comfort to patients who may be claustrophobic, and the compact footprint is suited for hospitals, imaging centers, and in-office clinics. Magnifico is equipped with advanced technologies like Speed Up, True Motion, and Metal Artifact Reduction (MAR) for patients with metal implants.
