Fujifilm Medical Systems and conebeam technology company NewTom are collaborating on distributing NewTom's technology to hospitals in the U.K.
Fujifilm is now distributing a variety of technologies from the NewTom portfolio, including the following:
- GiANO HR, a hybrid 2D/3D conebeam CT scanner
- 5G XL, a conebeam CT scanner that allows clinicians to obtain high-resolution volumetric images of patients
- VGi evo and NewTom GO, specialized conebeam CT devices for imaging dental, maxillofacial, orthopedic, pediatric, and ear, nose, and throat exams
The companies highlighted their partnership this past June at the 2019 UK Imaging & Oncology (UKIO) congress in Liverpool.
