Fujifilm prepares for new product launches at ECR 2020

Fujifilm Medical Systems will showcase several new products in its booth at ECR 2020 in Vienna, including a version of its FDR nano mobile digital radiography (DR) unit outfitted with artificial intelligence (AI) software from AI software developer Lunit.

FDR nano Lunit features the integration of Lunit's Insight CXR-MCA software, which provides an abnormality score by heat map for major chest abnormalities such as nodules, consolidation, pneumothorax, atelectasis, fibrosis, pleural effusion, pneumoperitoneum, and mediastinal widening, according to Fujifilm. The mobile x-ray cart weighs 90 kg and utilizes the company's D-Evo II and Virtual Grid technology, the company said.

In women's imaging developments, Fujifilm will showcase its Bellus II multimodality diagnostic workstation. Bellus II features tomosynthesis reconstruction, a customizable graphical user interface and workflow, and report functionality and third-party report integration, according to the vendor. It can also be integrated into existing environments.

The company also plans to host a number of breast imaging education workshops on topics including new technologies, contrast-enhanced digital mammography, synthetic 2D, iterative tomosynthesis reconstruction, automatic breast density measurement, tomosynthesis-guided biopsy, and dynamic imaging processing.
