The National Health Service Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) has approved Fujifilm Medical Systems' Amulet Innovality mammography system for tomosynthesis assessment in screening clinics across England.
Amulet Innovality addresses patient comfort with tools such as the Fit Sweet compression paddle; Comfort Comp technology, which activates controlled decompression during acquisition; and fast workflow times, which translate into less time in compression for patients, the company said.
