Proton Partners International has acquired a data acquisition system from Ion Beam Applications (IBA) for use with its IBA Proteus One proton therapy machine and its Versa HD linear accelerator from radiation oncology vendor Elekta.
The system, Blue Phantom, is distributed by Oncology Systems Limited of Shrewsbury, U.K., and is used for beam shaping in patient treatment.
