Agfa HealthCare plans to demonstrate its Hexalis lab information system (LIS) at the upcoming Journées Internationales de Biologie/Colloque National des Biologistes (JIB/ACNBH) meeting in Paris.
The system helps laboratories and hospitals increase their productivity and meet accreditation requirements, Agfa said. It makes use of Bioserveur's Mesanalyses.fr portal so that labs can securely share results with patients and doctors, and now features Patient Advanced, a tool that allows users to set up a secure internet service to archive patient results. Hexalis also features LABorne, interactive stations patients can use to access their results, according to the firm.
