Agfa HealthCare and speech recognition software developer Nuance Communications said that Nuance's new 360 | SpeechAnywhere Services software has been integrated into Agfa's Orbis clinical information system.
Users can add speech recognition capability with a software upgrade or via voice activation with the Orbis Speech software, according to Agfa. Those users who already have Nuance speech recognition can retain their existing voice profiles and enhanced vocabulary with a simple upgrade, the company said.
