Radiation oncology firm Elekta has finalized its previously announced acquisition of Polish distributor RTA.
The deal will enable Elekta to strengthen its position in Poland's private and public health sectors by leveraging RTA's existing relationships, according to the vendor. RTA will change its name to Elekta and become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Stockholm-based company.
Elekta expects the acquisition will add 0.3% to its annual revenues and will be accretive to annual earnings per share.
