Telemedicine and teleradiology developer Image Information Systems and Russian sales partner Delante Medical Systems have combined to provide a regional PACS for western Siberia.
The PACS covers the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region (YANAO), which is located in the arctic zone of the West Siberian Plains and has a territory of about 750,000 sq km. It is home to about 546,000 people, according to the company.
The project included the integration of 16 hospitals and 100 DICOM imaging modalities into one regional PACS network, the firm said. Installation will be complete by the end of April.
