The Righospitalet of Copenhagen University Hospital has installed a Biograph mMR MR/PET scanner from Siemens Healthcare.
The Rigshospitalet said it's now the third hospital in the world to acquire the MR/PET scanner. The institution has already performed 15 PET/MR scans of children, and is highlighting the benefit of the technology to avoid the higher radiation dosage from PET/CT scans in some situations.
