Vienna-based EANM highlights record abstracts for Hamburg congress

The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) noted that it has received a record-breaking number of abstracts for its upcoming annual congress to be held from 19 to 23 October in Hamburg, Germany.

A total of 2,609 abstracts from 77 countries have been submitted, the EANM said. Currently, a pool of reviewers is assessing all the submitted abstracts, with authors to be notified of their acceptance via email on 21 June 2024.

In addition, EANM encouraged professionals under 38 years old to seize the final days to apply for its Next-Gen Program. Under the program, EANM is granting 100 early-career professionals free registration and accommodation for the congress. The deadline for application is 17 May, with applicants to be informed of acceptance by 29 May, EANM said.
