EANM reveals plan to establish AI committee

The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) is creating a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Committee that will be launched in 2025.

The committee will be led by Dr. Margarita Kirienko from the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan, and will have the following objectives:

  • Advancing research, education, and adoption of reliable AI tools
  • Establishing and disseminating industry best practices and guidelines
  • Collaborating with the EANM’s internal groups and partner organizations on AI-related projects
  • Contributing to the EANM’s EU policy affairs to shape the future of the field.
