The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) is currently reorganizing its education section and will establish a new Education Council.
The EANM Education Council will focus on four key areas: regular nuclear medicine training, accreditation, focused training, and soft skills training. The EANM issued open calls for two positions on the council: a soft skills officer and an accreditation officer. Successful candidates will commence their terms in January 2025, the EANM said.
In other news, EANM said that 37 centers have already received a certificate under its recently launched EARL Theranostics Center of Excellence program. Level 1 accreditation is now open, with levels 2 and 3 under development, the organization noted.
The EANM's annual congress takes place in Hamburg, Germany, from 19 to 23 October.
