United Imaging has secured a contract with the Military Clinical Hospital in EÅk, Poland, for the installation of its uMR Omega ultrawide-bore 3-tesla MRI device.
The hospital will install uMR Omega at its new MRI laboratory, which will serve its local population, United Imaging said.
uMR Omega features a 75-cm bore, as well as what United calls Artificial Intelligence Compressed Sensing and DeepRecon technologies, which reduce imaging time by 70%, according to the firm. It also features dual-source phased-array millimeter-wave radar for tracking patients' respiratory motions.
