United Imaging Healthcare (UIH) and Medical Imaging Electronics (MIE) of Germany have signed an agreement to work together in serving the nuclear medicine sector.
The two companies plan to collaborate to meet the growing demand for advanced PET/CT systems by delivering medical technologies for large-scale diagnostic equipment, according to a press statement from United. It said the collaboration will increase the reach of its products.
MIE has been involved in the field of nuclear medicine products and services since 1981. United's digital PET/CT systems will perfectly complement MIE's existing product portfolio and open new opportunities to offer innovative solutions to customers, noted Managing Partner Thomas Kühl.
