Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems said that Südharz-Krankenhaus in Nordhausen, Germany, has become the first German user of its RapidArc radiotherapy treatment.
The institution recently treated three prostate cancer patients with RapidArc, according to the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor.
In other RapidArc news, Varian has also installed the technology at Northwoods Cancer Center in Woodlands, TX.
