DMS Imaging's Onyx wins recognition at JFR 2024

DMS Imaging's Onyx mobile x-ray technology is this year's winner of the Journées Francophones de Radiologie (JFR) Innovation Award in the x-ray category.

Onyx aims to increase imaging access. It features carbon nanotube technology and is powered by the company's Adam software platform, which incorporates AI image processing. The product reduces radiation exposure, providing clinicians with clear images for confident diagnoses in any clinical setting, according to DMS, which has its head office in Gallargues-le-Montueux, France.

Onyx also includes a zero-gravity arm positioning for freedom of movement, allowing operators to maneuver the device in tight spaces and challenging clinical environments, and it is also powered by a lithium-ion X-Tech Cell battery, the vendor stated.

The product will be showcased at JFR 2024, to be held in Paris from 4 to 7 October.
