RCR launches Quality Standard for Imaging scheme

In collaboration with the College of Radiographers, the U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) has unveiled a Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) initiative designed to support busy frontline imaging services teams, with the QSI Quality Mark now open for registration.

The new approach marks a move away from traditional methods, promising a more effective and sustainable path to quality improvement in imaging services, RCR said.

Key benefits of the QSI Quality Mark include facilitating peer support by bringing services together, an easier way of sharing best practices, and formal recognition of quality for services and their stakeholders. This builds on the RCR's existing support and offers more expert and targeted resources to help services implement the QSI, RCR said.

Imaging services interested in implementing the QSI and enhancing the quality of their services can now register to join the new scheme via the RCR's website.
