SERAM president-elect tackles workload and sustainability

Dr. José Carmelo Albillos Merino, president-elect of the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM), features in the latest episode of the iSanidad podcast.

Albillos, who is head of radiology at Hospital 12 de Octubre de Madrid, talks about challenges in the radiology workforce, including ongoing training as radiomics continues its emergence into the clinic. He also outlines SERAM's focus on promoting research in this area, as well as informing professionals about such new technologies.

Finally, Abillos calls for health systems to adapt to the advent of technologies, particularly AI, to get the most out of them for image analysis and patient care, along with promoting environmental sustainability in radiology.
