Growth in all aspects of its business helped U.K. teleradiology services firm Medica Group to achieve 28.3% growth in revenue for 2016.
In preliminary and unaudited results, Medica had revenue of 28.5 million pounds (33.5 million euros) in 2016, up from 22.2 million pounds (26.1 million euros) in 2015. Medica said that revenue from its routine cross-sectional image interpretation business climbed by 43.5% during 2016, while revenue increased by 26.6% for its NightHawk business and by 6.1% for routine plain-film interpretations.
Medica had adjusted profit before tax of 6 million pounds (7 million euros), compared with 3 million pounds (3.5 million euros) in 2015. The company provided services to 99 National Health Service (NHS) Trusts and private providers in 206, up from 92 in 2015.
Medica completed its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market in March, which raised 15 million pounds (17.6 million euros) for the firm before expenses.
