Image analysis services provider Mediaire has received approximately 2 million euros for the continued development of its MRI deep-learning software focused on the brain.
The software will improve radiologists' workflow through more efficient quantitative image analysis and reduce operating costs thanks to artificial intelligence (AI), Mediaire said.
The increased capital came from High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), the Austrian/German investor network primeCROWD, and the Italian investor LIFTT. The funds will support Mediaire's sales and marketing activities in several countries, create a commercial network, and further product development into more than just brain imaging and expand into knee and prostate imaging, for instance.
The firm plans to extend its geographical coverage starting next year through 2023 and to increase its workforce to 150 employees by 2025.
