PACS vendor Sectra has finished installing a cloud-based national telepathology system in the Netherlands.
As a result, pathology laboratories all over the Netherlands can connect to the system and share digital pathology images for consultation, revisions, and panel discussions, according to the vendor. The project was initiated in 2017 by the Dutch Society for Pathology and the nationwide pathology network Foundation PALGA.
Sectra said it completed the project along with subcontractors Deutsche Telekom Healthcare and RAM Infotechnology.
