Swedish PACS vendor Sectra has installed its PACS and vendor-neutral archive (VNA) at the Saarland University Medical Center in Germany.
The contract covers radiology, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, internal medicine, urology, and orthopedics, and includes the PACS software's reporting feature.
Saarland University Medical Center provides health services for approximately 50,000 inpatients and 200,000 outpatients per year, along with approximately 300,000 exams performed annually.
