Imaging software developer Mirada Medical has signed an agreement to collaborate with Maastro Clinic in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and Sohard Software in Fuerth, Germany, on machine learning and big data-driven radiation therapy treatment planning.
The three organizations secured a European Eurostars grant to develop software to support automatic contouring and semantic database-driven treatment planning. The collaboration will combine Mirada Medical's medical image analysis and registration tools with Maastro's clinical knowledge and Sohard's semantic database technology, Mirada said.
