Radiation oncology firm Elekta has been chosen to equip the radiation therapy department of a new hospital, New Karolinska Solna in Stockholm.
The new facility will replace the existing Karolinska University Hospital, Elekta said. The company expects the agreement to be formally signed during its first 2016/2017 fiscal quarter, and the equipment will be installed in April of next year, according to the firm.
The final decision is pending a 10-day review process, Elekta said.
