The focus of next year's eHealth Week 2016 will be on patients rather than institutions and IT systems, with the title "You, at the Heart of Transition."
Conference themes will include empowering people, trust, standards, innovation, and transition, according to the Dutch Ministry of Health, the European Commission, and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Europe, which are organizing the meeting.
The program will be held on 8-10 June in Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam, the Netherlands; more than 2,000 international experts in IT and healthcare, public institutions, professional and patient representatives are expected to attend. Registration will begin in December.
