Italian authorities have launched an investigation into radiation oncology firm Elekta's Italian operations for suspected antitrust violations, the company said.
Elekta, which said it is cooperating fully with the investigation, emphasized it has very clear policies and procedures regarding its code of conduct and fair competition, and it will not tolerate any deviation from that standard.
Italian operations accounted for about 3.5% of Elekta's total net sales in 2014-2015, Elekta said.
