Radiation therapy vendor Varian Medical Systems has won an eight-year contract worth 21 million euros to provide radiotherapy equipment and software to a network of hospitals in Spain.
Under the terms of the deal, Varian will supply 10 linear accelerators, including three TrueBeam systems, six Clinac iX units, and a Unique system to five hospitals in the Servicio Gallego de Salud (SERGAS) network in the Galicia region. The hospitals will be connected to each other within Varian's Aria network, the company said.
