Orthopedic digital imaging developer EOS Imaging saw an uptick in total revenues by 43% for the first six months of the year.
For the period (end-30 June), revenues were 10.2 million euros compared with 7.1 million euros for the same period a year ago. The company credits the increase with more equipment sales -- 20 versus 15 last year -- and a higher selling price of 425,000 euros compared with 391,000 euros at 30 June 2014.
Worldwide equipment sales totaled 8.5 million euros, compared with 5.9 million euros a year ago -- an increase of around 45%. Growth in the U.S. in particular was outstanding at 361% and accounted for 11 EOS systems sold, according to the vendor.
The second quarter was also a strong one for EOS with revenues up 39% to 6.9 million euros, compared with nearly 5 million euros in the same quarter last year, the firm added.
