Fujifilm has secured a contract to supply equipment to the prestigious Papworth Hospital National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust in Cambridge, U.K.
The Papworth is the largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital in the U.K., and includes the country's main heart and lung transplant center, according to the vendor. It is installing two of Fujifilm's FDR D-Evo viewing systems, as well as a wireless FDR Go Flex unit with FDR D-Evo C35i flat panel detector and laptop. The Papworth selected the devices specifically to upgrade from its CR mobile system to a DR compatible system, according to Fujifilm.
