Carestream Health has signed a seven-year contract with the Royal Free National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust London to supply its PACS and related services.
The trust originally installed a PACS under the NHS Connecting for Health Programme, and recently issued a tender for replacement of the network. The new contract with Carestream calls for PACS to be provided as a managed service, with the software integrated within the Royal Free Hospital London Trust's new RIS.
The contract also has an option to extend the agreement for three years.
