Firms collaborate on contrast-free stress cardiac MRI

Ergospect and Diagnosoft have signed a cross-distribution agreement to advance their pharmaceutical- and contrast-free cardiac stress test, the companies said.

The long-term agreement calls for reciprocal distribution rights for each other's products, and codevelopment focus on in-bore MRI stress load-bearing analysis, according to the companies.

This agreement offers opportunities to apply the firms' software expertise in cardiac, musculoskeletal, and oncology specialties, while boosting both companies' global reach for customer engagement and support, they said.

Combining Ergospect's Cardiologic Module and Diagnosoft's Virtue software offers important advantages for stress MRI, according to the firms. The Cardiologic Module permits controlled in-bore heart rate elevation during a stress test without drugs, while Virtue software is ideal for analyzing pre- and postexercise regional wall motion, according to the companies.
