Agfa HealthCare has been awarded several contracts in France for its HYDMedia electronic archiving and healthcare document software.
HYDMedia has been installed in several healthcare facilities, including Centre Hospitalier Alès-Cévennes, Centre Hospitalier Emile Durkheim in Epinal, and Centre Hospitalier Mémorial France-Etats-Unis in Saint Lô.
The system allows users at these hospitals to access archived patient documents from any workstation in the hospital via a single digital health record, therefore reducing or eliminating the use of paper and its associated costs such as printing, copying, transporting, and storing, Agfa said.
