Agfa HealthCare and Worldline have been awarded a contract to provide shared medical imaging services for the entire region of Alsace.
Alsace e-santé, the coordinator for group procurement for the SIMRAL (Alsatian regional medical imagery services) project, will deploy technology sharing medical images across the region, along with consolidated functions for vendor-neutral archiving and image management with PACS and RIS through Agfa and Worldline.
The SIMRAL project expects to archive and share more than 1 million imaging exams per year among 53 facilities in Alsace.
