Image display firm Barco said it is expanding its support for mammography continuing medical education (CME) course provider Mammography Education.
A longtime sponsor of workshops provided by digital mammography pioneer Dr. László Tabár, Barco will now supply its latest mammography display systems and provide dedicated support for hands-on mammography CME courses in the U.S., according to the company.
Tabár, who is president of Mammography Education, will periodically offer two workshops -- "Hands-On Digital Mammography Screening" and "Multimodality Approach to Detection and Diagnosis of Breast Diseases" -- in Scottsdale, AZ, from 20 January 20 to 18 September 2014.
The workshop series marks the first collaboration between Barco and Tabár in the U.S.
