Ultrasound and radiotherapy products developer CIVCO Medical Solutions said it will feature three of its products, including the new trUpoint Arch stereotactic radiotherapy product, its robotic patient positioning system, and its Universal Couchtop Long Extension (UCT LE), at the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) forum in Geneva, Switzerland, on 19-23 April.
Highlights of the products:
- trUpoint Arch offers a stable frameless bridge design and simple patient setup for head and brain disease treatments.
- UCT LE facilitates better delivery of dose and target coverage by eliminating the interference of rails and junctions with radiation delivery.
- The Protura robotic patient positioning system integrates with existing image-guided radiation theraphy (IGRT) products and linear accelerators, positioning the patient with 6° of freedom from outside the treatment room to enable more accurate treatment and motion management, CIVCO said.
