Radiation oncology firm Elekta has sold Elekta treatment systems to two Danish hospitals, the first in Denmark to be sold with an integrated Agility 160-leaf multileaf collimator.
Odense Universitetshospital has purchased two Axesse systems, the first of which was installed on 29 September. Six additional Elekta systems are in use at the hospital, the Stockholm-headquartered company said.
Vejle Hospital in Vejle purchased an Elekta Infinity treatment system, which will be installed in the spring of 2013.
