Siemens Healthcare subsidiary PETNet Solutions is commemorating the 10th anniversary of delivering its first FDG dose in the U.K.
PETNet entered the U.K. through the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, an independent medical charity located within the Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, Middlesex. The center provides imaging services for oncology and diagnosis of other serious diseases. It constructed the facility to house PETNet's cyclotron, which was the first commercially licensed PET cyclotron facility in the U.K.
In addition, PETNet also is responsible for the manufacture and distribution of FDG at Nottingham City Hospital.
