Dutch software developer Fysicon has introduced DataLinQ, a platform for integration of departmental-specific data systems to an electronic medical record (EMR), health information system (HIS), or PACS.
The platform includes DataLinQ Collect (DC), which converts reports from generic systems to a specific protocol such as DICOM, HL7, XML, or a structured report, according to Fysicon.
DataLinQ Pace (DP) provides for data transfer from pacemaker programmers to a local or centralized national database, while DataLinQ Icon (DI) converts PAL or S-VHS video signals to DICOM-compatible files. This allows for integration of nonDICOM modalities such as visual light applications into PACS, Fysicon said.
