Agfa HealthCare is changing the name of Insight Agents, a German contrast media developer it acquired in January 2010, to Agfa HealthCare Imaging Agents.
The company produces CT, MRI, and x-ray contrast agents. Agfa anticipates that rebranding the business will help extend existing sales and marketing of the generic contrast media portfolio in Europe, as well as expand its global market presence, according to Dirk De Langhe, global business unit manager of imaging agents.
